The first Trans Tasman Southdown Show was run online with judging on 5 December 2021. This was a chance to see a line up of Australian and New Zealand Southdowns.
There were three classes: Ewe, Ram and Pen of 5 Commercial Rams. Members of Southdown Australia and Southdown Sheep Society New Zealand were eligible to enter their sheep bred in 2020. Competitors submitted photos and video of their sheep for judging and 45 entries were received. This year's sale will be held on Wednesday 27 October at 11.30am, on-property in Tylden as usual., offering Southdown Stud and Flock Rams, Southdown Stud Ewes, and introducing Southdown WS Rams (a Southdown/White Suffolk blend).
