"Andaloro Park"

Andaloro Park is situated in the 'Granite country' of Nulla Vale, located between Lancefield and Tooborac Victoria.

The first purchase of Southdowns was conducted in 1994 when my father John Sly Purchased several ewes and a ram from the Metcalf brothers of 'Hillgrove'.

Since then, I too have developed an interest in this breed of sheep and by 2001 decided to become a registered breeder.

Stud sheep have since been purchased from various properties throughout Victoria including Burradale, Chandpara, Clear Hills, Ivydowns, Roseview and Southern Pastures.

In 2005 we competed at the Lancefield and Warnambool Agricultural shows and were proud to bring home many ribbons to our credit.

The stud currently consists of approximately 25 stud ewes and 3 main stud sires. We are Ovine Brucellosis Free and are vaccinating against Ovine Johne's Disease for the duration required.

Our future goal is to perfect a prime lamb sire which is able to achieve easy birthing and high growth rates with a predominate focus on increasing the eye muscle area.
